Shaping Up at 816 Scenic

The past two weeks at 816 Scenic have been full of progress. With a little break in the weather we were finally able to complete the roof and siding. The windows have been replaced and the new wrap around deck is finished. Now we’re making headway on the interior. Remember the dungeon bathroom? Well… it’s not a dungeon anymore. A new sub-floor was built over the concrete slab so your bare feet won’t freeze when you walk on the new flooring. Drywall is up, new electric outlets have been roughed in, the utility room has been separated from the bathroom, the laundry hookups were moved out of the bathroom and into the utility room, and the electrical panel is being framed around so that it can be hidden behind a door. Kitchen tile is going down today. Next week the hardwood floors will be refinished, kitchen cabinets refinished, and counter tops will be coming in. We’re expecting this house to be ready just in time for Spring. What better way to start the outdoor season than a cookout on your brand new deck?
